Selam Bus Becomes Zonda Bus Sole Agent |

Selam Bus has signed contract agreement on August 25, 2010 with Zhongda International Trading Ltd, Hong Kong, P.R, China to become Zonda bus sole agent. According to this agreement, Selam Bus has the exclusive agent rights to sell and distribute all models of Zonda Bus in Ethiopia. In line with this, Selam Bus is also authorized to represent Zhongda International Trading limited to carry out the company’s maintenance, repair and spare parts-stocking. Zonda Company is one of the leading Buses & Coaches manufacturer in China, with production capability of 15,000 units per year. Zonda Buses & Coaches range from 6m to 13 meters in lengths and can be sorted into 200 models including - Passenger Bus
- Transport Bus & Coach
- Tourist Buses & Coaches
- City Buses
- Group commercial buses.
The two companies will also establish Joint venture bus manufacturing plant in Addis Ababa which targets east African market. |

Selam Bus Importing new luxuries super high deck coaches |

Selam Bus has opened LC on July 09, 2010 for the purchase of inter-city super high deck coaches as per the contract agreement signed on July 02, 2010 with Yutong Company. These buses which are equipped with the state of the art technology including Toilet, AC & Safety belt for each seat, DVD player & fridge are expected to arrive in Addis Ababa on Sep 24, 2010 as per the contract agreement signed by both parties. Yutong Company becomes the winner of the tender opened on Oct 30, 2009 after detail technical analysis has been performed by renowned professional engineers & after evaluating the actual performance of these buses on the ground in neighboring countries as well as factory visit at seller’s premise. The company has a capacity of manufacturing more than 30,000 buses annually which enables it to become the second largest bus manufacturer in the world after Daimler Co. of Germany. |
