Selam Bus has opened LC on July 09, 2010 for the purchase of inter-city super high deck coaches as per the contract agreement signed on July 02, 2010 with Yutong Company. These buses which are equipped with the state of the art technology including Toilet, AC & Safety belt for each seat, DVD player & fridge are expected to arrive in Addis Ababa on Sep 24, 2010 as per the contract agreement signed by both parties.

Yutong Company becomes the winner of the tender opened on Oct 30, 2009 after detail technical analysis has been performed by renowned professional engineers & after evaluating the actual performance of these buses on the ground in neighboring countries as well as factory visit at seller’s premise. 

The company has a capacity of manufacturing more than 30,000 buses annually which enables it to become the second largest bus manufacturer in the world after Daimler Co. of Germany.
