Selam Bus has opened LC on July 09, 2010 for the purchase of inter-city super high deck coaches as per the contract agreement signed on July 02, 2010 with Yutong Company. These buses which are equipped with the state of the art technology including Toilet, AC & Safety belt for each seat, DVD player & fridge are expected to arrive in Addis Ababa on Sep 24, 2010 as per the contract agreement signed by both parties. Yutong Company becomes the winner of the tender opened on Oct 30, 2009 after detail technical analysis has been performed by renowned professional engineers. The company has a capacity of manufacturing more than 30,000 buses annually which enables it to become the second largest bus manufacturer in the world after Daimler Co. of Germany. |

Selam Bus Received Award for its Quality Service |

Selam bus has been awarded by Ethiopian Quality Award organization (EQAO) on Dec 17 2009 for its exemplary organizational excellence of the budget year 2009 quality award program based on seven fundamental criteria of EQAO. The award has been received at Sheraton Hotel from the Honorable Athlete Dr Haile Gebreselassie in the presence of the President of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopian, Ato Girma Weldegiorgis. 
The General Manager of Selam Bus, Ato Berhanu Kebede, Receiving the Award from Dr Haile G/selassie EQA was established in January 2008 by the Addis Ababa University in collaboration with Walta Information Center to award organizations for their remarkable achievements in the product and service sector. President of the Addis Ababa University and EQA board chairman, Prof. Andreas Eshete said that the objective of the award is to enhance quality products and services. The award is designed to appreciate organizations for their achievements in quality and performance. It is also aimed at raising awareness about the importance of providing excellent services in order to compete internationally.
